This article will cover the basics of what you can do inside of a sequence. First section will cover the triggers and a simple explanation of what each of them do.
Button Trigger:
By clicking on this button you can trigger a message to be sent to the person. This is the only trigger, that the person does not need engage with the message to become a subscriber. If they click on the button they will become a subscriber.
Under the Initial State Tab:
Label: You can label this whatever you want. We like to name it something that will be helpful for future reference.
Button type: You have the option to add a checkbox which means they must click on the checkbox before they can submit the button. Additionally, if you add the checkbox, you can edit the color of the button and the text.
Button size: There are three options for size: small, medium and large.
Button background: If you do not add the checkbox, the color for the button can only be blue or white.
Under the Submitted State:
Note: submitted state means after the person has clicked the button.
Button text: This is the text they see after the button has been clicked on.
Redirect URL: Allows you to redirect the person to a different URL after they click on the button.
Button text: You can change the color of the text on the button.
Button background: You can change the color of the button. This is the color the person will see after they click the button.

Comment Trigger:
You can use a Facebook Post and when people comment on the post you can trigger a message to be sent to them. They must engage with the message in some way to become a subscriber.
Under Settings:
Label: You can label this whatever you want. We like to name it something that will be helpful for future reference.
Facebook Post For Comment Tracking: Here you will be able to select the specific post on Facebook that you want to set up the Comment Trigger.
Track replies: When someone replies to a comment you can send them a message, or keep it off to ignore replies.
Exclude Comments With These Keywords: When someone comments on the post with these listed keywords they will not receive a message in Messenger.
Only Trigger For Comments With These Keywords: The person commenting must comment with these keywords or they wont receive a message in messenger.
Reply Message:
Reply Message: Unless the person replies to this message then they will not be placed into the sequence, or receive any other messages. This is limitation set by Facebook Messenger API.
Checkbox Trigger:
Can add to most buttons on your page, so when they click on the button it will trigger a message.
Initial State:
Label: You can label this whatever you want. We like to name it something that will be helpful for future reference.
Button Size: Can select small, medium or large button.
Required Checked State: Unless they check the checkbox, then they will not be able to submit the button that you associated the checkbox trigger to.
Double Opt-in:
Optin Post: By clicking on the button, "EDIT DOUBLE OPT-IN POST" you can edit the message they receive. The person must reply to this message in order to send them future messages and for them to become a subscriber.

Tag Trigger:
Here you can Label and create a tag.
Keyword Trigger:
Here you can create keywords that will trigger the message sequence.
Label: You can label this whatever you want. We like to name it something that will be helpful for future reference.
Apply Trigger for keywords that meet the following criteria. There are three options here:
Message is: The keywords they respond with must match exactly for the sequence to be triggered.
Message Contains: As long as part of their message has these keywords then the sequence will be triggered.
Message begins with: As long as the persons response begins with the keywords selected here, then the sequence will be triggered.
Add a keyword: You can use a single word as a keyword, or you can have multiple.
URL Trigger:
You can set up specific URLs to become a trigger. For example, one someone purchases a product/service and ends up on the thank you page, you can send them a message knowing they purchased an item.
Label: You can label this whatever you want. We like to name it something that will be helpful for future reference.
Apply trigger for traffic that meets the following criteria. There are two options here:
URL Contains Any Of The Following: As long as part of the URL contains what you enter here, the it will apply the trigger.
URL Equals: The URL must match exactly to apply the trigger.
Content
You can either create a new message, or select a message you previously wrote. To the right there will be analytics such as number of sent messages, clicks, open rate and CTR.
Goals
Goal Name: You can name this whatever you want. We like to name it something that will be helpful for future reference.
Apply goals for keywords that meet the following criteria. There are 3 options:
Message is: The keywords they respond with must match exactly for the sequence to be triggered.
Message Contains: As long as part of their message has these keywords then the sequence will be triggered.
Message begins with: As long as the persons response begins with the keywords selected here, then the sequence will be triggered.
Add a keyword: You can use a single word as a keyword, or you can have multiple.
Additional Actions. You can use more than one at a time. There are 4 options here:
Add Tag: when the goal is fulfilled then the person will be tagged with whatever tag you selected.
Remove Tag: when the goal is fulfilled then the tag you selected will be removed from the person.
Subscribe to sequence: when the goal is fulfilled then the person would be placed into the sequence
Unsubscribe from sequence: when the goal is fulfilled then the person would be unsubscribed from the sequence.
